Four games left. If you are a fan of Manchester United or Manchester City, and you’re anything like me, you’ve been busy working out all the permutations of wins, draws, losses, where the most likely slip-ups are, where the easy three points should be.
Manchester United hold the advantage, that five point cushion with 12 left to play for. They are the favourites to win a twentieth league title. They really should do so and I would favour that result to happen. But it is not inevitable. Manchester United should win the 2011/2012 Premier League, but Manchester City can still catch them.
