I’m far from an expert on Northern politics, but I can say something for certain now: The SDLP just got its own foot in its sights and did not hesitate in pulling the trigger.
Brilliant stuff there. I don’t like Sinn Fein and this is just another soundbite they can use in an upcoming election. They get to make the obvious comebacks and grab some moral high ground. Cheers Ms Ritchie, in accomplishing the exact opposite of what you intended to do.
Between this, the crappy candidates put out against Pearse Doherty, and Gerry Adams just having to announce he’ll run in the south for massive popularity points, its been way, way too easy for Sinn Fein lately.
